About the Fairfax Funky Flea
The Fairfax Funky Flea is an outdoor vintage market located in the heart of Northern Virginia. Find us at 4031 University Drive, Fairfax City, Virginia.
We love our vintage dealers bringing the best clothing, jewelry, art, pottery and home goods for you to discover and treasure. With over 70 vendors selling vintage there is something for everyone at the Fairfax Funky Flea!
Thanks to the generosity of our partner Ox Hill Companies and our sponsor: the Old Town Fairfax Business Association (OTFBA) you can find us on the last Saturday of the month, April-November, at 4031 University Drive, Fairfax, Virginia 22030. We're in the large lot behind the United Bank. We're just one block from Main Street in Old Town Fairfax. The City of Fairfax is located 15 miles west of Washington, DC in the center of Northern Virginia.
The Fairfax Funky Flea, LLC is privately owned and operated by Sharon Buttram who is also the owner of the vintage/consignment boutique Lucy Loves located at 10414 Main Street, Fairfax VA 22030.

We have over 70 vendors selling unique vintage clothing, jewelry and accessories plus home decor, art, pottery glass, ephemera, tools, and more.
You won't go away without finding something fun and fabulous!
We offer food services each month including catering from local restaurants and food trucks. Find hot coffee and matcha from Kaphiy Roasters and cold drinks too. Dessert and snack vendors offer goodies each month. Come for the shopping and stay for the food!
Parking
Public lots and street parking is convenient to the market. Please be courteous of our neighbors and park in authorized spaces only. Vendors, please park in our off-site vendor parking area located at 4084 University Drive.
Scam Alert
Unfortunately online scammers are using our market info and offering fake bookings under a different market name.. This is not us! You can only book a spot at the Fairfax Funky Flea by completing an application on our website. All contact is from either Sharon Buttram.
Appraisal Service
What is your stuff worth? Linda Cunningham Goldstein, a Sotheby's-trained appraiser and former National Trust Museum Director, will be appraising your treasures for the low, low fee of $15 per appraisal. Skip the Antiques Roadshow and visit the Fairfax Funky Flea Roadshow instead!
How it started...
Sharon Buttram, owner of Fairfax Funky Flea LLC
Sharon is a long-time resident of the City of Fairfax. She loves going to flea markets, estate sales, tag sales; if you sold it, she probably bought it!
One day she looked around and realized she had TOO MUCH STUFF! Yes, there is such a thing. The kids don't want it and she had NO MORE ROOM!
So she knew she had to curate her collections and simplify her life. And the result is the Fairfax Funky Flea! The first flea was held in September, 2021 with then flea partner Kathy Hackshaw. And the rest is history!
Sharon hopes you enjoy visiting the Fairfax Funky Flea and she looks forward to seeing you there!
How its going...
The Fairfax Funky Flea is celebrating it's fifth anniversary in 2026 and to acknowledge this milestone and a change in ownership, the flea is changing it's name to the Fairfax Vintage Flea. Look for more news about this and other changes in the coming weeks.
